[Notice] Fried oysters will be on sale until Wednesday, April 30th
2025.03.17
Thank you for your continued patronage of Katsukichi. Today we would like to inform you about the sales period for fried oysters.
This year, 2025, we will extend the sale of “fried oysters” until around the end of April. The sale may end earlier depending on the growth conditions of the raw oysters. We appreciate your understanding.
We have decided to extend the sales period after discussing with the people at Toyosu Market, where we purchase our raw oysters. *Katsukichi Shibuya store, Shin-Maru Building store, Hibiya Kokusai Building store, Nihonbashi Takashimaya store.

Due to the effects of global warming, the season for oysters has changed, and these days they can be enjoyed until early spring. Starting this year, Katsukichi, operated by our company, will be extending sales until the end of April.
The environment around Japan’s coastal waters has changed, and so has the growth conditions for seafood. We want you to be able to enjoy the flavors of the season for as long as possible.
*The sales period may change depending on the condition of the oysters. We apologize if the sale ends early.

For each fried oyster, several oysters are wrapped in the highest quality fresh breadcrumbs and fried at high temperature. This is a traditional method that has been used since Katsukichi was founded. We hope you enjoy the juicy taste. *Katsukichi was founded in 1958.
Sales period: From October 2024 to the end of April 2025
Sales price: Fried oyster set meal (3 oysters) 2,400 yen (4 oysters) 3,000 yen

We also offer “fried oysters” in the seasonal course meals available at each store (reservations required). We look forward to your patronage.

The video below is from our visit to Toba Angakujima, an oyster producing area. It has been posted on our YouTube (Katsuyoshi Channel).
Takemoto Suisan at Angakujima Fishing Port showed us the oyster farming scene. They also gave us permission to film the footage. Please take a look if you’d like.

We are grateful to all the oyster producers who grow oysters with pride. We hope you will enjoy Katsukichi’s fried oysters this winter as well.
