We are recruiting new staff at Katsukichi Shibuya store.
2023.11.24
Thank you for visiting my blog.
Today we would like to inform you that we are recruiting staff for our Shibuya store.
Now that the coronavirus pandemic has subsided, we have many customers visiting our store every day.
Over the past year, we have had many customers from overseas, and many languages are spoken in the store at any time of the day.
I am truly grateful.
Due to these circumstances, we have decided to recruit energetic staff for our Shibuya store.
The Shibuya store is staffed by students, part-time workers, older men, and people of all ages. In addition to Japanese staff, we also have many foreign staff, including a Myanmar national who has been working there for over 25 years.
We have a total of 20 staff members, 6 full-time and part-time employees, and 14 part-time employees, and we are an organization with many bright, energetic, and serious people.
The Shibuya store was founded in 1989. The store is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. Since we are a pork cutlet specialty restaurant, our customers mainly eat food.
We are often used by customers who drink alcohol sparingly, so you can work in a calm atmosphere.
If you are interested, please feel free to contact us.
Below, I would like to share an article from “Restaurant.com” that I have requested to be published this time. Please take a look if you like.

A popular long-established pork cutlet shop that uses traditional methods.
No experience required! We have an environment that supports each person!

==◆ This is the kind of shop! ◆==
Katsukichi, which was born in Nihonbashi about 60 years ago, is now open underground along Meiji Dori. We have created a shop with a calm atmosphere by focusing on real wood. The refreshing “Tonkatsu” fried in corn salad oil is a traditional method that we have always followed. Enjoy the crispy “tonkatsu” fried by trained craftsmen with the taste of natural ingredients (unnatural) with green shiso rice, red soup stock, pickles, and salad!
==◆ Benefits of working at our store! ◆==
“You’ll learn basic cooking skills and the basics of customer service.”
As a store manager, I was able to learn about management, and as a chef, I was able to learn about the basics.
Nowadays, I am in charge of the frying area and handle the orders of over 100 people, but personally, I feel like I am using my athletic nerves more than my cooking skills.
It takes 15 minutes to deep-fry the tonkatsu at a low temperature, but if you do it slowly, you’ll have to keep the customers behind you waiting, so you have to put all your brain and body into it.
I think we have gained a lot of experience in dealing with this scale. I think it will work no matter where you go.
“I feel fulfilled when we all work together to achieve our goals.”
That’s when I felt the “passion” when the store came together as one.
The store’s sales targets are mainly set by full-time employees, but they cannot be achieved unless everyone works hard, so I make sure that part-time employees are also aware of the goals.
At our Shibuya store, we have staff from a wide range of ages, from teens to late 50s, and the feeling of unity when we all think together, push forward, and achieve our goals is truly special!
We have a wide range of staff members in their 18s to 50s!
Regardless of employment status, such as full-time or part-time employment,
I think it’s a workplace where everyone is friendly and considerate.
We have staff from a wide range of age groups, but there are no cliques and it’s an open workplace!
[A heartwarming message from the hiring manager]
I myself am conscious of the ease of work, but unlike large companies, we are able to respond flexibly to each staff member, so feel free to ask us anything.
We have a system to follow up even if you fail, so if you have a challenging spirit and desire to improve, please contact us.
Even if you don’t have experience in the food and beverage industry, you can do it as long as you have athletic nerves (lol)
“If you have even the slightest interest, we look forward to your application!”
